I went to Mexico City right after visiting New York.   It was end of Oct. 1998.  The weather was very nice and hot over there.

Mexican speak Spanish.  So I need a guide to show me around since I can't speak Spanish at all.  During the seven days staying, sometimes I went out with tour guides, sometimes with my friend Laura who works in Mexico and speaks excellent Spanish.   I stayed at Laura's home and enjoyed her cooking.  I would like to thank Laura for her kindness and hospitality.

Shopping in Mexico City was a interesting experience.  My suggestion is that never purchase goods without bargaining, especially the shops around attractions.  You need patience while bargaining with them.  Sometimes, you don't even bother to say a word;   just by standing there still, the price they offered will go down again and again.

It's a pity that I had only visited Mexico City.  There are lots of other marvelous places I wanted to go in Mexico.  I hope that I have a chance to visited Mexico again someday.
