The Tourism Bureau's Tourist Information Hot Line provides a wide range of assistance and
information, in Chinese and English (or other languages as needed), on travel in Taiwan.
The hot line is operated everyday of the year from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Taiwan time).
Calls can be made from any where in the Republic of China on Taiwan or the world.
The Hot line's computers contain a wealth of information on scenic areas,
transportation, timetables, hotels, restaurants, Chinese folk and fine arts, and cultural
activities. The Hot Line also provides emergency assistance and help with accidents,
lost and found, language problems, and complaints. Callers can obtain printed copies
of the information they have requested.
